Lincoln House or Taylor?

Any housing advice on Lincoln vs. Taylor? I will be a freshman engineering honors student.

Lincoln is one of the tall towers, remodeled, with several students in a suite like setting. A long walk from most classrooms, but every student at OSU walks a lot. Lincoln is also closer walk to shopping near west campus. Taylor is on the northeast corner of campus. It’s quieter, far from south campus restaurants, etc. 4 students are crammed into a very small quad. I would have hated it, but many love it.

My son is a FEH student living in Houck. He wanted an engineering learning community so that he’d be surrounded by kids who were in the same boat as he was. Houck is right next to Taylor so he is close to other honors kids he knows in Taylor. Also, he is close to all of his classes (5-10 minute walk tops) and close to High Street where many of the shops, restarurants, banks, and bookstores are located. It is cramped.
