List of schools that offer merit scholarships to int students as well

<p>So,I thought many international student who need financial aid need to know about schools that give
merit scholarships that are also given international students; large portion of them seems to think that only top tier gives aid to int kids, need based or merit based.</p>

<p>Schools that I know offer merit scholarships. Please add if you know any other schools, number based or not.</p>

<p>University of Alabama: partial tuition~full tuition based on GPA and SAT/ACT. Minimuim requirement 3.5 GPA and 1280 SAT or 27 ACT. </p>

<p>UA-Huntsville: relatively lower requirement than UA

<p>Adding the names of scholarship would be nice if they are based on more than GPA and SAT.ACT</p>

<p>Louisiana Tech has a full ride Presidential scholarship for 3.0 HS GPA and 32 ACT, although international students should check whether that specific scholarship is available to them.</p>

<p>I looked up the website and it said international students are also considered for traditional scholarship if they graduated US high school or American high school in foreign countries. They need SAT/ACT, of course.</p>

<p>Not sure if int. students who have SAT but didn’t study in American HS are still eligible. Gotta ask the admission.</p>
