Which are the schools the provide merit-based aid to international students?

PS: I know of lots of schools providing NEED-based aid, but I want to know about good schools providing merit based-scholarships.

Come on guys! I know we can find a few good schools for us! :)

So no schools give merit based aid to intl’ students? Wow, I never considered that possibility.
Anyway, thanks everybody who viewed the post.

Rollins College

There are tons of schools with merit aid. Maybe you could clarify what sort of merit aid you are looking for.

academic, athletic, performance-based, service-related… scholarships?

partial tuition, full tuition, full cost of attendance coverage?

how competitive can the scholarships be?

would you be happy at a 4th tier university or are you looking for something more selective or prestigious?

what do you want to study? engineering would limit your options, theology might open doors at bible colleges.

I’m looking for a college that provides scholarship that covers tuition / COA - partially or fully. Scholarship that is based on my grades, scores and achievements.

Competitiveness? I don’t care - I should be eligible for it. 4th tier? hmm, as long as it is in the top 100, possibly top 50 of the USNWR/ Engineering ranks.

I’m open minded — in the sense that, I’m looking at engineering, but also at economics and psychology.

university of dallas

okay thanks.

I suggest you check each of their websites of each of the 50-100 schools on your list yourself to see if they have any scholarship opportunities. It would be a shame if you missed an opportunity only because we didn’t know about it ;)

Off the top of my head:

Villanova, Boston University, Michigan State, Clemson, Auburn, Brigham Young, Trinity University (TX), Loyola Marymount University, Texas Christian University

As I said before, I encourage you to go through a list of engineering colleges and check the scholarship opportunities at each one yourself.
