I am searching for rankings, lists and feedback on colleges and universities that offer international studies programs. Big or small. Ivy or not. I would like to evaluate a broad spectrum. I have found one list that includes mostly Ivies and the like. What about LACs and great programs that are flying under the radar? Anyone else searching too?

Yeah, If you can try searching the forums, This has been talked about many times before.

There is no real undergraduate ranking system available for this particular major. That is, no real one that is reliable.

USNews.com: America's Best Colleges 2008: School lists by major

The most popular ones that many CC say for IR that ar enon ivy are probably (thouh others can add their input as well), GTown, JHU, GWU, American, etc... As for LACs, i'm not sure.

There are a load of rankings here - by region, country, subject, overal....

They've also got a search which might help you - http://www.topuniversities.com/schools/data/search/search_results/

Thank you for responding. Your information confirms what I have been finding. If anyone else is interested, we could begin a list from current students that includes the name of the college/university and the student's opinion of the program. anyone?

What is the difference between International Studies and International Relations?

Is International Studies the same as "Area Studies"? ...study of various regions of the world, geography, culture, economics, politics, art and literature, etc.
