Okay so I was accepted to Virginia tech early decision
1370 sat (without writing)
4.0 gpa

I got a letter saying I was not continuing academic excellence and I could possibly have my admission rescinded.

As of now, I have a 3.6 so I'm not really sure what the deal is

I definitely have senoritus... and worst case scenario I get like a 3.3 but I am taking 3 ap classes, and I have an internship for journalism.

Will tech really take it away?

I've heard of people getting ridiculous gpa's like 1.5s and 2.0s their senor years and still going to tech. So are they trying to scare me or are they serious?

I'm seriously freaking out.. any comments would be appreciated

Question: Do you have a 3.6 for the first semester of senior year, or did your first semester senior year grades drop your three years of 4.0 down to a 3.6? If it’s the first case scenario, then it seems really odd that your college would threaten you. If it’s the second case, and you went from having straight A’s to a semester of B’s and C’s, then you need to bring those grades back up and get in touch with both your guidance counselor and the college to make sure you keep your spot in the freshman class!
