<p>I’d like to hear any good and bad experiences with the freshman living community experience and tips on using the Alabama online roommate search program. How does the search compare to facebook roommate search. Thanks</p>
<p>I registered on the UA online roommate search, but didn’t use it after that. More people post on facebook and the facebook questionnaires are usually longer and more detailed. I’ve enjoyed living in honors housing that is mostly freshmen. There have been no bad experiences that amounted to anything. The buildings are large and comfortable. To me, my dorm is a perfect hybrid of off-campus and traditional dorm life.</p>

<p>Agree with using Facebook questionnaires to find roomies. I just don’t think the Bama questionnaire asks enough of the pertinent questions. </p>

<p>I agree. Honors housing is almost the same as off-campus apartment living, but you don’t have to hassle with parking everyday.</p>
