<p>My son has applied to the Business LLC for next fall. He is now second guessing his decision. He is afraid that it will be too strict and will limit his social activiites with students outside of the LLC. Do the LLC members tend only to stick with one another or do they only get together for LLC activities? Also he has mentioned that he heard that the rooms in Sutherland make more difficult to meet people, because they are suite style. Does anyone have any experience with the LLC's and was it the right choice for you?</p>

<p>I lived in an LLC all 3 years of campus- we have lives! Just because the people in his dorm are all of a certain type doesn’t mean all his friends are. I’m sure he will join some clubs and other groups on campus- those are all people that he can hang out with as well. Also, not all of his classes are business- he must be taking some electives with other people as well.</p>
<p>My point is he can hang out with whomever he wishes, nothing is forcing him to only be with the kids in his dorm (which would get really tiring after a while, I’m sure).</p>

<p>I think suite style makes it easier to meet people. Instead of only having 1 roommate you can have up to 7! Plus since you have “living rooms” you have more space to have other people come over to hang out.</p>
<p>I have to say- I’m surprised that the CEC is in Sutherland. I thought Sutherland was only UHC and Athletic housing.</p>
