LMU compared to Chapman

Can anyone contrast these 2 schools? I'm specifically interested in campus culture, type of student (if there is a typical type), differences in curriculum, dorm life, religious influence, internships. etc. S would not be a film major.
Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks

I got totally different vibes from visiting these two colleges.
For me, I loved Chapman a lot more because the buildings are more together, as in closer together. LMU's campus is a lot more spaced out, which I found made it seem too expansive. Chapman actually has a nice homey feeling college town. LMU seemed to be more isolated and without a college town.Though of course, LMU has LA, HOLLYWOOD, and beaches and such close to it.
Both LMU and Chapman seem to have the prevailing rich, beach, celebrity type of students, but each college says that there is a diverse niche of student types here. For me, Chapman seemed to be more diverse and more welcoming to ALL types of students, i.e. actually having "sexual orientation" included in their non-discriminatory statement and a LGBT studies minor as opposed to LMU, which lacks both.
There is no pressure at all at Chapman in regard to religious influence, they like to separate themselves from their religious association. They do have a church with many different services if one is interested.
Chapman definitely connected with me and the teachers were extremely friendly on Discover Chapman day, and I could see a more diverse set of prospective students there.

IMO, Chapman is considered much more of a party school than LMU is.
Uh, there isnt as much to do at chapman…except for that one area…has a couple bars and what not. I live pretty close to LMU and i think it has a really really good location. Its near LAX and LA & Santa Monica. I dont know too much about chapman but my friends say that LMU isn’t really competitive. The only extremely tough majors at LMU are engineering & non-natural science majors. Dorm life at LMU is also supposed to be pretty lax. My friends have their share of party animal hallmates, nerdy hallmates haha…Overall the student body at LMU is pretty friendly and everyone is attractive.
