LMU wait list??

Hi:

Ok, so I got wait listed @ LMU. As i got rejected from the two other schools I wanted in California, and the SVA in New York is not what I want/can afford, I accepted to stay on the wait list. Does anyone have any idea what the chances are for getting in off the wait list? Or if the type of major (film being mine) makes it any harder? Its my last choice, and Ive applied to a couple other schools in California having found this out, but am sticking it out for LMU.

I don't know how their waitlist works, but if you cant afford SVA how can you afford LMU? LMU is like seven thousand more a year i think

i guess i meant i dont want to be paying that much for a school im going to regret going to , you know?

why don't you consider going to a community college and then reapplying after a year or two years to usc and lmu. i know that you can transfer into usc after 1 year at a community college, i'm not sure if that applies to lmu.

regardless as a community college student you'd have more options to get a better record academically and actually apply to places you want to go and are a good fit for you.

as a transfer student you would be able to hit up any of the la schools, as well as ny schools.

thats another option.

i applied to some last minute schools that have film, so i could at least try and transfer. but with a community college i would get a place and establish residency

yeah, but establishing resedency wouldnt matter for lmu or most other film
intensive schools

usc and ucla, just as an option i suppose

well at least with ucla u would get the benefit of residency.
