Local Cell Phone Plans

I don't know if anyone would know about this, but I am on a local cell phone plan that my dad gets through his work (so it would be easiest for me to stay on this plan). I know kids don't use cell phones that much, but will I get coverage in Hanover?

When I was there at Dimensions, service was pretty sketchy. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't. This seemed to be the general rule for everyone I talked to, and we were on a variety of providers.

I use Verizon, by the way.

I hear no one really uses cell phones here. It's always blitz this, blitz that. lol

i used my brother's cell phone (cingular). it worked everywhere, all the time i used it.

I never have problems with Verizon here.

I thought Verizon worked extremely well in most places.

Joey

i will just restate that my verizon, worked prefectly in most places, except when my mom and i went driving up vermont for a day....

I have T-Mobile. Honestly never use it. In fact, I think my battery is dead. Weirdest part, I SWORE that I would stop this "blitz nonsense" and get people to use their cell phone. I still hold that it's easier for instant contact, but no one here is that rushed anyway.

Anyway, my service has been great. Whenever I turn on my phone I have great service (it converts to US 980 or something...). If you can subscribe to that US service (i have no idea, i'm not too familiar with it), that's my best bet. I always have full bars. But don't worry about it. Besides blitz, there are phones all across campus with free long distance (and blitz has a phone directory so you can call your friends' rooms).
