LOL who else got trolled

I MAY ( really big may) have gotten e right
I guessed on f

We got this boys! (Assuming women don’t take Physics…) Haha jk.

^Good research.

here’s my predictions:

1: 3/15

2: 4/15

3: 5/15

I hate to say it, but the means on FRQ will probably be about the same as usual. Question 1 really wasn’t the end of the world.

No it will certainly not be the “same as usual”. People who go in expecting 5s, and come out thinking they got 2s, are the ones who would be bringing up the score averages, as in for 2010. If the smartest people are saying it was terrible, then your average person got very little right. I expect the curve to be ridiculous.

I was consistently scoring ~11 points out of 15 on past FRQs. I probably got 2 points on #1. There is no way in hell that this year’s will be the same as usual.

^ thank you. Some common sense. Ditto on the scores.

I’m sure people come out of the test every year feeling bad about their performance. Remember the added time crunch and the general pressure as you are doing the FRQs really make a difference. It’s already a hard test. That’s why the curve is already incredibly low.

Yes, but i the past have you seen 20 or so threads all nearly unanimously saying to was the worst thing ever?

I think it’s different this year tbh. =</p>

If you look at the 2009 MC, I think you will find that this year was not so bad.

FRQ might have been harder…I guess we’ll see.

I disagree. I found this year’s MC to be about the same, if not a little harder.

hmm…Well at least the curve is always nice. I didn’t think EM was too bad at all. What did other people think of it?

2009 MC I timed myself, and I found it easier. Besides we’re talking about Part II % right distributions, which are definitely the hardest in the past decade or so. As for MC, it was not easier than normal, so it won’t “balance out” the FRQs. Which only means… nicer curve? I am speculating, of course.

I don’t care what anyone else says–this year’s Mech was insane. I worked on past years’ exams and did fine, getting ~31/35 on MC and 33+ on FRQ. This time I think I got ~25/35 and ~22/45.

Agreed. Seems like a lot of people feel that way.

yeah. FRQ 1 e and f. forget it. i had no clue where to start.

^when i saw that e and f had to be in terms of 15 variables, i was like smhhhhh and skipped

Well I did the 2009 MC the day before as a practice and got -7 on it, and I can guarantee you that I did not get -7 on this years MC. This year’s MC required you to instantly know what you were doing or you wouldn’t have time to finish. Idk, I definitely thought MC was harder than usual, and FRQ was so so.
