So here it is, getting son packed for the next 4 months in London, going out for our last meal as a family and then packing the van for leaving tomorrow. Any other Skidmore London parent out there panicking at this point? I find myself both really nervous and even more excited for my son and what is in store for him and all the great opportunities that await him in London. So, any Skidmore London parents out there? I have so much nervous energy it is crazy.

Just spoke to my friend who's dd is leaving tomorrow also. They are having a hard time packing within the weight limits.

Just wanted to say what a great group of kids that are going to London! They are going to have the time of their lives. I am so impressed with Skidmore! ~A very happy and proud dad!

jollymon, can't help wondering what you've heard so far and how the London experience is going?

Thanks for asking..... In my wildest imagination, I wouldn't have believed how much my son is enjoying London and the classes he is taking. I imagined a country kid being all alone and in his dorm calling us to come home. That couldn't be farther from reality. He loves his classes and professors, is going to "Hairspray" the play tonight for a class, all the kids over there meet at the local pub after classes, and is having the time of his life. He is really happy and just loving the experience. My wife and I are small town teachers and we feel like we won the lottery by having him there. Again, thanks for asking!

wow--sounds like an amazing time!
