long distance relationships

LONG DISTANCE RELATIONSHIPS DO WORK! If you truly want to be together, anything can work out. My boyfriend and I have been dating for 2 years and we have been in long distance for 1 year and probably more in the future. At first, you obviously miss eachother so much that you just want to cry, but sooner or later you begin to get used to it. He goes to college on the opposite side of jersey and we have no problem going 3 weeks or even a month without seeing eachother because we know that when we do see eachother it will be extremely special. So for those of you willing to try out long distance, I say go for it! If fate doesnt want you together, then dont be together.

I’m happy that it’s worked out for you, but I’d like to point out that your “long distance” isn’t as long as everyone’s. I’m 6 hours from home, and I go home about every 2 months. So seeing a BF at home would be nearly impossible any more often. Luckily I don’t have one (I broke it off before I left, on good terms), but still.

Also… there’s no question here. Do we do FYI posts that aren’t asking anything?
