Currently I'm a high school senior and I understand that for transferring to a college as an incoming sophomore, alot is based on my college gpa and hs record. My only concern however is that I feel my stats from hs are not so great, I'm considering ivies such as Cornell, Darthmouth, Yale, and top schools like Emory, Georgetown etc.
SAT: 1940
hs cumulative gpa: 96.00 senior year gpa: 98.70 (both unweighted)
My SAT IIs were 710 in Math I and 750 in Math II
Considering that I maintain a good gpa at a top 30 school i'll be attending, do I have a shot at least? Would appreciate any advice, thanks.

As long as you have a high GPA, I think Georgetown, Cornell, and Emory are possible. Yale maybe but don’t count on it.

GPA is only one aspect of the admissions process. You EC’s and recs carry a great deal of weight as well. Continue and EC’s from hs and also add new ones. Get to know at least two of your profs really well and write a great transfer essay and you should be fine.

your stats from HS look good except that SAT. continue to do well in college and think some top schools will be in your reach (not yale though).
