What is the best way to park a car at Berkeley that won't be used daily? The goal is some place that I can park the car and get to it maybe 3-4 times a month. I don't mind walking or taking a bus to the placeit doesn't need to be right on campus. I'm just trying to figure out a place to keep my car that I can still get to it when I need it but that won't cost a fortune.

My DS found his spot last year by looking on Craigslist. He rented a surplus spot at an apartment building that was about a 10 minute walk from his dorm. The cost was only about $70 per month.

If you’re not living in the dorms, I would just change the registration of your car to the Berkeley address (easy to change back when you move) and pay less than $50 for a whole year to park on the street.
