So I want to have my car up here in Berkeley, but I need a place to park it. My apartment's lot goes for $100 / month, and that's a little expensive for my liking. A residential parking permit is $30/year, but it seems like a big hassle to have to register my car at my Berkeley address. Correct me if I'm wrong? Right now, I'm thinking of parking it at a friend's apartment which goes for $50/month, but is around five blocks away from where I'm located. Can anyone suggest any cheaper or more convenient solutions?

ya: don't bring a car.

Ok.. well let's just say that isn't an option..

And I learned today that my friend's place has no more spots.. so does anyone know properties that rent for ~$50/month and that has available spots? Or any other suggestions for that matter.

yeah, actually i want to know too because i'm nobody without my baby.
