Parking in Berkeley

<p>Hey all. I just moved into my apartment, and I brought my car up with me. For now, I'm using a 14 day parking permit to have my car up here (because my apartment's garage costs $150/month for use!) But if I want to keep my car up here for a full year, I will need to register my car to my Berkeley address.</p>

<p>Now, I don't want to do that. While it is an option, my parents (who own the car) don't want to deal with changing the registration. Does anyone here know of any way I can keep my car up here? Are there any lots around here? Garages? Thank you.</p>

<p>I'd like to know this too. My parents want to drive two cars to drop me off and the hotel will only take one car. I need an extra parking spot for about a week.</p>
