I know this sounds like a really silly question, but I was wondering what the skating scene is like at Northwestern. I know it’s Chicago, so the weather might not always permit longboarding, but do people bring their boards/actually ride them?

I’m not a longboarder myself, but I’ve definitely seen people riding longboards around campus.
People definitely longboard around campus, although the sidewalks are usually pretty busy, and it honestly just looks like a hassle to me. But people do it, so feel free to bring it.
It would be a hard to throw a rock and not hit a longboarder on Sheridan road
