Longboards.....

Maybe I’m misunderstanding, but I thought you had to have a little swivel action going…which would look kind of ridiculous in my opinion. :D!

yeah it looks really dumb. Learn to skate, it is way more worth it.

Wow, I just saw my neighbor riding a ripstik (he’s about 10 by the way) and not only do you have to swivel, but you also have to get off and push every so often because it doesn’t really move very well…
And, what’s so hard about skateboarding? You just push…it seems a lot easier (and convenient) than this ripstik deal.

Why skateboard, when you can RASCAL?

^^Lol. I would still call the RipStik more ridiculous…

Well my cousin (who’s also about 10, like I said younger audience) only pushes off to begin with then you ‘swivel’ the back leg, which shouldn’t be that noticeably ridiculous. Maybe your neighbor is a beginner? like me?

well, anyway it was just a thought. I’ll be biking for the most part anyway, even if I do decide to get a ripstick.

skateboarding… i dunno, it’s never really appealed to me. but if you guys suggest it so highly, i could try learning this summer or something.

okay, y’all can go back to the original topic  sorry.

^^Lol, it’s okay, I enjoyed the website’s videos, those were funny. Talk about major poseurs (like a skateboard with a weak weak ollie), haha. And, yeah, just try skateboarding, I really don’t think it should be too difficult if you’re using it to get from class to class?? haha. If you want to learn tricks, that’s hard, not going to lie. Maybe that’s what you were talking about?

Oh, and great news, I just found out that my friend makes longboards!! Cha-ching!
