I would like to know the general criteria for transferring into boston college. I attend FSU and my GPA is 3.7 through 60 credit hours. I am a business major and have gotten A's in all my required classes for business. My SAT score is 1350. What are my odds. I have basic EC's, a good essays, and good recommendations.

If it's 1350 / 1600, then pretty competitive shot (good thing).
If it's 1350 / 2400, then look elsewhere (self-explanatory).

It is 1350 out of 1600. Thanks for the reply. Just out of curiosity, do you like Boston College? What is the academic environment like?

I think you have a solid chance

bump bump bump bump

Does anyone know any other comparable schools that I could possibly get into with my stats. Keep in mind I am a business major.

i dont know aout any comparible schools but i was wondering if anyone knew here how a 1990/2400 sat and college gpa of 3.59 could do for transfering at BC...its lower than the 3.7 duh but i was wondering how much of worse is it really?

oh and im looking at ND too and thats similar to BC in a lot of aspects...the only downfall for you marlins is that they dont accept any transfers into the business school....

.....................

ND is generally easier to transfer into than BC, only thing is that Carroll accepts transfers while Mendoza does not. to the OP, you have a very good shot, but transferring to BC has gotten much more difficult over the years, it might be under 10% this year, so nothing is guaranteed. To the second poster, it depends on where that 3.59 is from.

University of Washington.

thats a solid school, so you have a decent chance. its probably on the reach side though
