Looking at test scores!!!

Hello everyone,

Just a quick question. It may be a bit dumb. I sent in both my ACT and SAT scores to some colleges. I know colleges say they will look at your highest ACT and/or highest SAT, but will a lower score on the SAT affect how a higher score on the ACT is perceived. Or do they just look at the highest from both tests?

The clerical people who set up your file will list the higher of the two tests on the short profile of your app. That is what adcoms will read, they don’t have time to contemplate your less successful attempts.
