My daughter loves this place - lots of vegetarian options, fun atmosphere: https://sherkaan.com/. Right behind the Yale bookstore on Broadway. Another good place is Harvest wine bar, which is a great bistro on Chapel. Both would be under $100 for dinner for two and drinks. Sherkaan will be well under that.
