Hi everyone and thank you for taking the time to help me with some advice. I am presently a 10th grader in high school and trying to plan out courses for the remaining two years. I have a strong love for the biological sciences, math, and computer science. Because I cannot fit all of the courses into my school schedule, my advisors suggested I give up AP biology since it is a double period and then I can fit both math team and computer science into my schedule. I would like to take an online college course in a biology related topic to supplement my high school courses. In researching online courses, some require a year of college level biology. Could anyone recommend some good online courses offered to high schoolers from the top colleges? Hopefully, that do not require prerequisites? Or perhaps the first step for me is to try to take basic biology at the college level. I would rather take genetics or physiology than go through more basic biology, though. Has anyone heard of or had any experience with UC Berkley's Extension program? Thanks so much for any advice, ideas or suggestions you may offer!

BYU’s online courses are said to be well-regarded, and they offer college-level General Biology:
