<p>There is a state program that allows you to study abroad over the summer before you start college, but it turns out that you must be matriculating to a school within the state consortium in order to receive program aid. My dreams are shot.</p>
<p>I was wondering if someone could give me some suggestions for internships or nonprofit work (not paid, just covering travel and living expenses) that can be done aboard at this age. I'd like to do something where I can learn a lot or help people.</p>
<p>I love to travel and I want to do something productive over the summer, I just don't have any means to do so. I've heard of people doing this but I don't know where to start. Thanks CC!</p>
