Looking for colleges that are matches, offer good fin. aid (parents could pay a little bit but most likely won’t contribute), have relatively large classes, urban or suburbs, east cost (mostly just dont want colleges in the middle of america), and that are matches

It’s important to know what you could pay under the guidelines not what your parents want to pay.

All private selective schools ask for a css profile as well as fafsa. This would capture home equity or business interests. It’s inpkrtsnt to size this distinction.

I would sting my suggest you run an efc calculation and NPC calculator for a random list of schools.

Say usc Chicago HPYSM Rice Georgetown Emory Vanderbilt Boston college USC types and oos public’s like UCB Michigan and Virginia and ut Austin

Get a sense of those and that will give a better sense of match names for you. Your profile is super strong. But if you get in and can’t go that is less than an optimal process.

Post some results for some of the shcools listed. Because if efc is low enough it opens up the world to you especially at meets full need schools.

Top, urban, east coast. Gatech and Johns Hopkins.

Since you are in Texas, just go to UT it will save you about 20k a year.
