I know I havent posted on here many times, but any advice would be appreciated. As of now, I am taking AP English Lit and Comp, but the teacher who is also a professor at U. of Dayton is making the class seem really hard, so im concerned about my GPA. Im thinking about going down to academic (regular) English. Also, i would add AP European History and drop Sociology so i would still have 3 AP's. I know it would probably be beneficial to stay in class with a legit college professor but is it worth it if i get a bad grade? What do you all think?

I just realized that i didnt put advice at the end of my title. did not mean to make it seem inappropriate.

Since you're adding another AP, it shouldn't be too bad. But colleges like to see rigorous courses. Supposedly a B in AP is better than an A in regular, but if you don't think you can get a B or higher, you should probably go for regular.

It's early in the year, isn't it? I'd say keep going for a while. Plus it'll look good to keep with the challenging class, as Squirrel Monkey said. You may regret dropping it.

Challenge yourself. To hell with the GPA. If you're smart enough to be taking 3 AP's, you're smart enough to work a little harder to get your A. And if you don't get an A, at least you know you tried your best. That's what's really important.

And if you're super pressed about what colleges will think, write an essay about it :)
