I am currently a female freshman at the University of Connecticut, however by credit hours I am technically a sophomore. My current cumulative GPA is a 3.65. My program of study is Molecular and Cell Biology with a minor is Neurobiology. I am historian and community service chair for my co-ed fraternity. I have volunteer hours and am planning on pursuing an MD/PhD program post undergrad. What are my chances of transferring to any of these schools for junior year? (I am planning to have my cumulative GPA be up to a 3.75)

Just wondering, but do you mean to say that the schools you mentioned don’t put much weight on SAT scores? The OP didn’t list any scores so I figured you based your opinion only on the GPA.

I wanted to clarify since I will be applying for transfer to each of the schools you listed.

I didn’t post my SAT scores because most colleges accepting transfers in their junior year don’t require them to be sent…although im sure some do.

I’m looking to transfer from Uconn because initially i was accepted into alot of these schools, I settled for my safety school and I am not at all challenged here and that leads to me being REALLY lazy…If I’m not challenged I slack off…and thats bad for an aspiring med student!
Uconn is a great school and I love being here…I just am looking for a better academic experience.
