Anyone have any suggestions for incredibly easy classes available to freshmen next semester? I'm talking about devoting AT MOST 30 minutes a day to net an A or A+ average in the class.

:)

30 minutes a day? That’s far too much time to spend on joke classes.

Check with your local high school ; )

Try out orgo or the calc series :)

Well, I feel like Honors are easier. I mean if you enjoy it, and you understand it, you may get a little more work but the grades will be better.

As far as an easy class with hardly any work? IDK, Chem is easy but it has long OWL assignments.

Just take some humanities, they don’t matter

Theres only one class that comes to mind: Polisci 101. It’s all mainly based on participation, so even if u just show up to class, do crappy work and just hand everything in ur guaranteed a B. There are no midterms or final exams. And with a bit of effort an A is easy to pull off. Oh yea and an added perk, he broadcasts his lectures online and doesnt expect u to show up in person.

"Try out orgo or the calc series "

Orgo is most definitely NOT easy. I spent far more time than that on the class and got a B (given, I’m probably terrible at science in general, but it’s still hard). I also wouldn’t say 3-4 hrs/week for calc are good for guaranteeing an A either. Maybe if you’re very good at math.

Now, I’m thinking you were just being sarcastic, but I knew some people who aced Orgo and Calc classes with pretty much no effort, so I don’t know if you’re just one of those people.

I’m pretty sure he was being sarcastic. Orgo and calc 2 are the two most failed courses at Mich. Atleast thats what my roommate told me

qwerty, i was sarcastic lol

any LSA classes that are not either math or hard sciences

^Ignorant.

^explain please

There are a s*** ton of non-math/hard science classes that are not even close to “easy freshmen classes”

This sounds great. Which classes would you suggest?

Intro to Anthro is probably your safest bet, depending on your GSI.

IDK who said chem was easy, id like them to take my exam for me tomorrow lol… calc I isn’t bad, but not an easy A…
