Looking to move into an apartment for the next quarter.

I'm thinking about moving into an apartment for the winter quarter. What the best place to look for apartments in the area?

if you're looking for a place for yourself (ie a 1 bed, studio, etc) then just walk around westwood and look for vacancy/now leasing signs.

if you want to share then look on craigslist, facebook, etc for people looking for a roommate.

the area a lot of people live at is the area west of veteran. This is where most of the apartments in westwood are. ^just walk around and look for signs.

There are also apartments south of wilshire, which is cheaper but slightly farther away (so i've heard). students living here usually takes the bus to school.

you mean east of veteran? west of veteran is the cemetery...

^north of the cemetary

more like west of the campus

South of Wilshire isn't much cheaper than the west side of campus, and some are more expensive (could be as much as $3000/2 bedroom). You just get more "value" because some places aren't as old and some have a little bit more space per bedroom.

You would have to go more than 5 miles south of Wilshire to get cheaper rent.

The bus is your friend.
