Looking to transfer in Fall 2014

I am new to this site, but am looking for some guidance in the transferring process. I am currently a student at a NYS community college with a 3.93 GPA, tutoring experience, am an officer in student congress, and am a member of over ten committees. I am a member of Phi Theta Kappa, and have been on the Dean's list for the entirety of my education. I am looking to transfer next fall after I graduate with my associates of science in Psychology.

I want to stay in NYS, so I have narrowed down my schools quite a bit. However, I am concerned because I am not sure how much financial aid I will be looking at when I do transfer. My top 3 are Syracuse University, Colgate University, and Cornell.

If anyone has any help at all, I would appreciate it.

By the way, I graduated high school with a 4.0, was unable to take any AP courses due to financial reasons, and took a few years off in between due to health reasons.

Thanks for reading and the advice

If you’re worried about financial aid, apply for tons of scholarships. I know it can be annoying at times, but they really do help in paying for college.
