I have a problem with my letter of recommendations. I applied EA a week ago and both of my teachers said they would have their LOR done by this time. It is now a week later and both are not finished. I have been asking them everyday and they keep saying to come back tomorow. I am hoping they will have them in very soon. I was wondering if a late recommendation letter (1-2 weeks) could effect my chances or if the admissions reps understand that teachers have a lot going on near that deadline and would be more flexible with a late letter. Thanks.

Late recommendations will only slow down your decision. Most admission officers will not begin reviewing an application until every document has been received, so unfortunately it will take longer, but it won’t affect the outcome of your decision.
