hey guys, I just want to know what to do in my situation. One of my teachers still have not submitted his recommendation letter although I let him know all the way back in November. it's ridiculous now and I don't want my application to be messed up because of this. A few of the deadlines i have were all the way back in the 1st of January although most are rolling or have been finished by the 15th. I don't know how ok this is, if at all. I'm very worried and i do not want my teacher's irresponsibility to give me trouble. All my other teachers have submitted their recommendation letters (1 math teacher and 1 counselor) so i don't know why this one hasn't finished yet. I've notified him well over 5 times and it's just very frustrating.

Teacher’s letters of rec usually have at least 10 days all the way to a month extra after your deadline. Colleges are more lenient about their deadlines than yours.

Let the teacher know politely again. Tell him/her when the deadline was (the January 1st one) and ask if they need anything else from you to help with the rec. If you doubt that this teacher will send a rec you could always ask a more responsible teacher.
