Losing all faith in myself ~ for UCB & UCLA

@newchapter

You do realize high school gpa and college gpa are not the same right?

@berkeleyappeal Ok, that makes me feel a lot better! I was starting to panic a bit lol. I figure us transfers have a lot more to deal with like jobs, responsibilities, etc., so admissions counselors should take that into consideration. It’s a lot easier to get straight A’s and do extracurriculars when you’re a high school student living at home with mom and dad.

The fact that there was a drop in the transfer applications gives me some hope as well… I’m wondering if it will make a significant difference? Or do those spots just get handed out to the increased amount of freshmen applicants? Hmm.

@JonnyL91 I was looking at their unweighted GPA’s that are on the 4.0 scale… are those not comparable to our college GPA’s? The unweighted GPA’s for a lot of the freshman getting denied was 3.9-4.0.

Kind of off-topic (and since someone posted the URL), I am still curious as to how Alexandra Wallace got into UCLA…
