<p>Loud Campus, a site where Cornell students can DISCUSS and REVIEW everything on and around their campus has launched today. The site is open to all for viewing so everyone can check out what is happening at Cornell from Professor REVIEWS to DISCUSSIONS about social activities. Check it out! It is a site that was started two Cornellians and is doing very well on its first day of launch.</p>
<p>I'm not a fan of the format that they have...I think a vBulletin forum like this would probably be best.</p>

<p>So, basically two meathead alumni paid someone with average programming skills to create a semi-spiffy looking forum that's supposed to be something special. I'm not quite sure what all the hype is about, there's nothing new about it. I could make one equally efficient for free in 20 minutes with an Invision PowerBoard.</p>

<p>I think it's pretty cool. Maybe not revolutionary, but well done and a fresh take on discussion... and they DID do it, where as you are just sitting here.</p>

<p>i think many people are cornell are doing great things and not sitting on their ass, and while this website may not be some crazy idea, and someone else could have done it, they did do it. and to call them meatheads further makes you look ignorant and stupid because im sure you have no idea what other accomplishments they may have. </p>
<p>furthermore, while other people may have been able to make this website, as a cc user, i still find loudcampus to be interesting and useful as it focuses much more on campus issues and is directed much more to students/their issues than other thread based websites.</p>
<p>i wouldnt say cc is anything a computer savvy person couldnt make, and user-generated discussion website is nothing new either, but all of us still use this. </p>
<p>loudcampus is definately worth checking out, a lot of the information is more interesting and imporant to academics and college living than "what are my chances for AEM" threads.</p>
