I have heard about UNC-CH sending out "love letters" to freshman applicants. Does anyone know if they do the same for transfer students?

thas incredibly flamin...well you know what

LOL. I meant letters that don't tell you that you're accepted, but it basically says that you're a great student and the type of student that they are looking for. From what I've heard they generally precede a real acceptance letter.

likely letters?

i would appreciate a likely letter or even a hate letter from my top choices. At least i'll know what to expect.

hahah hate letters?

What are you talking about? Likely acceptance and hate rejection letters? :D ahhahaahh

I haven't heard of likely letters being sent out to transfer students. It would be nice though.

hate letters are kinda mean....

Dear So and So,

Hi I'm admissions director at Such and Such University. We reviewed your application, and are you kidding me? From your application, we hate you. We'll most likely reject you, but you have a beacon of hope. I would like to arrange an interview with you to determine whether we really hate you or your application sucked.

Toodles!

Director of Admissions, Such and Such University

Hey Volman, I don't know about the likely letters. However, the regular admissions students were notified today like a week ahead of schedule.
Perhaps we'll be finding out before the 25th?
