The only thing on my app I am worried about is my SAT score, pending the results on monday, i have a 1740, but a 680-math 1c and 600 lit, I’m hoping for around a 1900-2000 on the new results. As you guys know, I’m from podunkville, FL. I applied ED, I was wondering what you think and what are some of the lower averages for Penn acceptees. Thanks

According to U.S. News:
25th percentile: 1330
75th percentile: 1500

So, you could ROUGHLY estimate the scores in the new SAT to be:
25th percentile: 2000
75th percentile: 2250

how funny...my math is the exact same as yours and my composite in one sitting is about the same as yours. i guess, up to this point the only thing we can do is wait for the results to come-too late for us to change anything

that's for PENN, right? not overall US?

Correct. That's for Penn.

wow, i doubt that. the 25th percentile is going to be a lot lower than 2000. i know hexa people at public school (in seattle) and they tell me that a 1900 is a "good" score.

yea... 1900 equates to mid 1300 maybe, so maybe the mid 50 would be closer to 1950 - 2200
