Low-cost summer programs!

Hi.

I am looking for some summer programs that aren't expecting me to pay thousands of dollars to go to. I am currently a sophomore in high school, and I live in Oklahoma.

If you know of anything, please tell me. and Thank you!

I know TASP is free – but I believe the deadline for its essays are on the 25th (this coming Monday!)

Then there is FIDM (Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising) - 3 days for $250. It’s more than just fashion, though. It branches out to things like: film/tv editor, marketing director, graphic/web designer, boutique owner, and more!

There is also this leadership summer program that is sponsored by Bank of America that is totally free. If you’re interested, you can get more information here: [Bank of America | Corporate Philanthropy | Student Leaders](<a href=“Bank of America resources: grants, sponsorships & ESG reports”>Bank of America resources: grants, sponsorships & ESG reports)

I know there are some pre-college programs that offer scholarships, as well. I guess in this case, you would just have to research on any specific college you want to try and see if they offer scholarships in the first place.

Are there any specific ones you want to focus on? That might help others who have an idea. (:

I’m applying for SAMS at Carnegie Mellon
do you know anything about that?

check out fte.org

The “Economics for Leaders” program costs only $150-$200 for a week-long program. :)

But isn’t that for students who participated in HOBY the year before?
