Low GPA competitive high school

I'm wondering if all colleges see that within a certain context?
-How hard the courses are that you're taking
-How tough your school is?</p>

<p>And I'm wondering if having a 3.6 UW GPA from a very competetive high school would hurt admissions?</p>
