<p>The chance of you getting into Yale is the same as the chance of you going on a NASA shuttle launch into space next month.</p>
<p>It’s impossible to say without more info. Academics only get you so far - every competitive applicant to Yale has stellar grades and test scores. They care more about who you are, and what you can bring to Yale. Hence why the essays and ECs are of critical importance.</p>
<p>Although to be quite honest, your rank will probably kill you. But hey man, go for it.</p>
<p>It’s all about what potential they think you offer and it often is based on “past performance” i.e. grades/scores/ECs/recs/etc. Maybe, for you, they need an oboe player, or a alto singer for their theatre dept. It’s not just your scores, but what else that matters, because, quite honestly, Yale applicants are already top notch academically strong.</p>
