Low GPA First Year

My first year of college, I did not perform well. I ended up leaving my university after one year, and if I had returned I would have been on Academic Probation.
I decided to attend a community college while I figured out what I wanted to do. Last semester, I had a 3.538. I'm planning on applying as a spring transfer, and at the end of this semester I will have either a 3.67 or 3.77, depending on one class. I'm taking three summer classes in addition to attending in the fall.

My question is, since I will have 3-4 semesters (depending on if you count summer session) when I graduate, how much emphasis will be placed on my first year grades? I've heard that after two years, a lot of places don't consider high school gpa, but will that also apply to my first year of college if I've taken enough classes since then?
