low gpa for selective colleges

hi everyone. i dont have any clue about how grades gpa and ranks students in usa. our school ranks students at the end of the school year. my grades are mostly 85-95percent, which might be 3.3 (unweighted). my school rank is 9/570. our school teachers never give high grades like 97 99 or 100 etc… so do competitive colleges (harvard , princeton , …)

So do competitive colleges (harvard , princeton…) take into account this situation ???

Anyone ???

Colleges will receive a school report to indicate what courses are offerred at your HS, ranking, etc… This will give them an indication of how rigorous your HS is and will take it into account when they view your application. Since selective schools are pretty much a crapshoot with far more qualfied applicants applying versus spots available, there is never a guarantee even with perfect scores/GPA/EC’s and essays, any one applicant will have a greater advantage over another.

Yes.
Conversion of foreign high school to US GPA isn’t as easy as one thinks. For example. 70% in India is same as at least A- in USA. The colleges will evaluate your school grade based on your nation’s average rigor of high school.
What is your test score?

2100s. So do you think im okey with my gpa since our school grade strictly ?
