Low GPA/Test Scores accepted to UCLA HSSEAS

<p>Can you guys post the stats of anyone who had low gpa/test scores that was accepted to HSSEAS (<2000 Sat and <3.8 UW GPA)? I'm really scared about admissions and I want to see if I actually have a chance. I'm thinking about applying for Materials Engineering.</p>

<p>I know only one person who got in with 2000 SAT but his GPA was 4.3. </p>

<p>Also his extracurricular activity was mainly about translating the books and radio shows regarding North Korean’s rights issue.</p>

<p>I know someone with a 1300 Combined and a 3.2</p>

<p>^Was he/she an athlete? That stat is really low(even legacy might not be helpful)</p>
