Hi y'all,
I actually took the SAT before I took the PSAT; I got a 2400 then only a 225. Is it common for students to do worse on the PSAT? I'm just really curious, because I've been told that the PSAT is supposed to be easier than the SAT and so now I feel kind of silly for getting a lower score on it. :/

Silverturtle scored a 2400 and a 227(?). The reason is that because the PSAT is shorter, one or two small mistakes can drop your score quite a bit while on the SAT they matter less. Hence why the SAT is a better indicator for colleges.

Anyways, congrats on the 2400!

I can attest to that. Two wrong answers on the writing section this year got me a 70 instead of my previous 80. I made stupid mistakes, but to lose so much on two questions is absurd.

Yea, I got a few wrong and got a measly 204. I have yet to take the real SAT’s, but on regular BB practice tests, I score WAY above that.
