Low Reading and Science scores on the ACT for UGA

Hello,
I am a RD applicant for UGA.
My act scores are just at the average mark for UGA:
-28 superscored

with poor Reading and science subscores:
-23 reading
-24 science
(I am a really poor test taker in those particular sections due to the set up and time constraints. Time management on tests in general has always been a struggle for me haha.)

But I scored better on the sections that UGA emphasizes on:
-34 english
-29 math

Even though I know they say that they mainly look at English and math scores, I’m still worried that they may still see my overall score and that may lower my chances. I’m not too concerned about my other stats like GPA, rigor, EC’s, and recs. It’s my test score that I’m concerned about, and I can’t take another test since I’ve spent way too much money on SAT and ACT tests at this point.
Would it help to send in SAT’s? They’re not that much better (650- reading & writing, 680 math= 1330 on new SAT).

Any advice for how I should go about the scores that I have would be much appreciated.

Go ahead and send in your SAT scores. Relax. I think you will be fine.

Thanks for the response. I went ahead and sent in the SAT scores and only sent in the ACT score with the 34 writing and 29 math score, so my composite will only end up at 27. I’m still a bit worried about how exactly they’ll review my science and reading sub-scores on the ACT but fingers crossed it all goes well I guess.

1320 is their avg. SAT score and 28 is their avg. ACT score so don’t worry
