Low SAT and SAT subject tests score used against you for UC and CSU admission?

Hi, I want to apply for US and CSU schools and have following questions:

1) Should I send all SAT scores to UC and CSU, even though some of my SAT scores are not as good as the highest one at all? I have taken SAT test 4 times and I didn't do well on the first 2 tests. I know that UC and CSU say that they only look at the highest test score, but "not-so-great-SAT-scores" cannot be used against you?

3) I took 2 SAT subject tests and one of the scores is a little above average and the other is a little below average. Should I send the subject test scores to UC and CSU anyway? Having rather lower SAT subject tests could work against you?? The UC schools I am applying say that SAT subject tests are not required, but will consider it if they are sent to them. I know that they will consider them positively if the scores are good, but how about when the scores are not so great?

Any info or opinion would be appreciated!

CSU superscores SAT CR+M and does not use SAT W or subject tests, so sending all SAT reasoning scores can only help you. The superscored CR+M is added to your GPA * 800 to get your CSU eligibility index (GPA calculated by the CSU/UC method). Except for CPSLO, applicants are ranked by CSU eligibility index and admitted from the top until the major or campus is full or the minimum eligbility index is reached.

UC wants all scores but focuses on the highest single sitting of the SAT reasoning. Some divisions or majors do consider SAT subject tests.

Are you international? There is no financial aid for internationals or OOS students.

ucbalumnus, Thank you for the useful information! Really appreciate it!

aunt bea, no, I am not an international student.
