I am an international student and my top choice will be Stanford.
I believe I will get at least 40 points on my IB predicted grades (including 7 Maths HL, 7 Physics HL and 6 English B HL).
I also aim at 780 at Maths SAT reasoning test, additionally I would like to take Maths level 2, Physics and Chemistry on Subject Test and get high scores as I do not consider those subjects difficult for me.
I want to spend some time during my summer holidays to write a really good extended essay in physics not only for those 3 points it is worth on the course but also I want to send it along with application to demonstrate my physics understanding.
I will apply for aerospace engineering.
One thing that bothers me is critical reading and writing on the sat.......
I am almost sure that my score will be quite low as I can speak English fluently but all the vocabulary required just overwhelms me.
Some people say that 2200 sat score is the minimum for stanford. So if I get less than 1400 on english there is no point in applying there? Will they take into account that I am from non-English speaking country with no SAT preparation at school and that English is not so important in engineering?

They’ll definitely take into account the fact that you’re an international student. Btw, have you taken TOEFL?

Also, there’s no “minimum” required SAT score, but having a low score (esp. in math if you’re not a native English speaker) can decrease your chances of admission.

Do I need TOEFL? Schools where I want to apply for sure do not require TOEFL for freshmen while Stanford only recommends it. I thought IB Diploma was enough to prove that I know English.

Can You also say me are my predicted grades important for them? I have heard that in US it is not relevant at all.

On Stanford application requirements they state they want a final report. Do mean my final grades after my junior year or exams results?

well i guess you can ask the stanford for more details. : )

Each college and university has its own policy about determining proficiency in English. If you cannot find the information on the website, send them an email.

If you don’t apply, you won’t get accepted. True story.

You have the skills to succeed at Stanford. Why don’t you get a tutor to take your English to the next level?
