how many times did you take the ACT?? because if colleges see that you spent a Saturday morning wasting your time on a silly test for the second or third time when you could have been doing something useful (like shooting paintballs at senior citizens), then you don't stand a chance.

yeah, i'm pretty sure all of those schools will take your highest score, so i'm wondering why flopsy said ucb/ucla will be a reach. They should only look at your 31 ACT, which is above the median 28 score for UCLA and Berkeley.

The only thing I don't understand is why your UC GPA is higher than your weighted GPA. Your UC GPA should only be counting 8 semesters of honors/AP as weighted, while fully weighted should be all of your honors/AP weighted. but anyhow your GPA is average for all of those schools, so i think if you do well on your essays, you should be fine at all of those schools

wait i dont understand the difference b/w UCGPA and WGPA...arent they the same thing?
if not..can someone tell me my UCGPA?
I took:
Jr:
Calc AB AP: A/A
BC AP: A/A
AP US history: A/A
Chem AP: A/A
Lit hr: A/B T.T
Java Programming: A/A
Stats Summer( CL): B
Spanish 3: A/A

Soph:
PreCalc Hr: A/A
Chem hr: A/A
World Lit: A/A
World History: A/A
Spanish 2: A/A

if i'm not mistaken, your UW GPA is 3.93, your UC GPA is 4.18, and your fully weighted GPA is 4.5

UC GPA only counts 8 semesters of honors/AP/IB/College courses as an extra point on your GPA, while fully weighted uses all of your honors courses as extra points in your GPA
