Hi guys,
I got a 670 on the literature subject test. Will this hurt my application to top schools? I will definitely be retaking it in October, just not sure whether I can score better because the test’s difficulty varies.
BTW, I got a 2300 single sitting and an 800 on math 2. And straight 5’s on 6 AP tests.
At schools which don’t require or highly recommend them, you’ll be fine. At the highly selective schools which do recommend them, a 670 is low - mid 700s would be the goal. Is there a different subject you think you might do better in? What APs did you take?
Hey @usualhopeful thanks for the response. I took AP Lang, Calc AB, Environmental, US Gov, US History, and Comparative Politics. Literature is my strong suit, and I don’t think I could do very well in another test (history was a struggle, and the AP exam is significantly different than the US history subject test)
Try taking it again- couldn’t hurt if you do better the next time around. But maybe look for a second subject test just in case- what about a language? or world history (since you seem to like history based on your APs)
