<p>I know my scores are weak, but how much will they weigh a disavantaged rural community (minus the educated father) and my choosing to attend college?</p>

<p>I think you're in at BC and Rice. I'm not as familiar with Amherst, Brown and Duke but considering your GPA, class rank and motivation outside high school I think you stand a pretty good chance even though your SAT scores are slightly below the ranges for those schools.</p>
