<p>The 600 writing is definitely too mediocre because Yale will be looking at writing- maybe not as an equal counterpart, but adcoms will definitely be taking it into consideration. However, if you are definitely more of a math/science-y person and that shows in your app, maybe they will consider you as a person who is very strong in one area and not in another (English + humanities)</p>
